RPM Manager Biographies

Robert J Furmage III

Robert graduated from NC State University in 1976 with his degree in Civil Engineering. He started working for a large General Contractor near his home town and within a year was a Project Superintendent.

After moving around North and South Carolina for various projects, Robert settled in Kernersville with his growing family in 1985. In 1993 he accepted an offer from Rick Murray to become part of the ownership team of RP Murray, Inc. as a Project Manager.

Upon Rick’s retirement in 2002, Robert became the majority owner of RPM. From that point Robert has guided the company through good and tough times; always striving to maintain the same quality product and outstanding service RPM’s clients have come to expect.

Audi M Carter

Audi graduated from East Carolina University in 1985 with his degree in Construction Management. In 1995 Audi received his General Contracting License.

After graduation Audi moved to the triad working for various General Contractors while starting his family. In January of 2000 Audi became part of the RP Murray team as a Project Manager, and was presented with the opportunity to join the ranks of co-owners of RPM in 2002.

Audi has gained a reputation as a cool headed PM always ready for a good laugh. It is Audi’s commitment to detail has helped RPM’s continued success with such clients as Allegacy Federal Credit Union and the Greensboro Coliseum.

Andrew G Wells

Andrew graduated from NC State University in 2006 with his degree in Construction Engineering and Management. In 2011 Andrew became a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).

In June of 2014 Andrew accepted the opportunity to join RP Murray and moved his growing family to Kernersville. Since graduation, Andrew has worked in all aspects of the industry from a civil engineering design firm, to field engineer moving up to Superintendent, Project Management, and now as head of Preconstruction Services for RPM.

It is Andrew’s hands-on construction knowledge that helps to ensure that projects are estimated in a way that best meets the constructability and value of the project itself.

Audrey Furmage Wells

Audrey graduated from NC State University in 2005 with her degree in Construction Engineering and Management, and in 2009 became a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP).

In August of 2014 Audrey accepted to offer to join RP Murray as a Project Manager, moving back to her home town of Kernersville. Since graduation, Audrey has worked for both international Construction Managers and local General Contractors based in the Raleigh area, allowing her to experience construction on all scales.

Audrey has gained a reputation of being detail oriented and persistent, always striving to ensure the best possible product for her clients.
